About Me
Dr. Gabriela Martinez received her education and training from the prestigious school of Azusa Pacific University.

She obtained a Master's degree in Family Counseling, and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology.
Although Dr. Martinez is fluent in Spanish and has worked extensively with the Hispanic population, she has a special interest in women's issues working extensively with women of different backgrounds.
Her services include working with individuals, couples, and families, and her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety and trauma related to history of abuse.
Dr. Gabriela Martinez utilizes a family systems conceptual framework and at the same time utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach to guide her interventions.
By identifying what thoughts are guiding our feelings and our behaviors, one is able to reach a place of healing to any conflict one may be experiencing.
Dr. Martinez is a Christian, and she has a special interest in the integration of spirituality in her treatment. She believes in helping clients identify their value system and recognizing if it is congruent with the way one is making decisions.
